Bat’HER Up is the podcast that puts the stories of the women in baseball at the forefront. Yup you read that correctly, none of this nonsense of only talking to dudes about the game, asking their opinions on what Aaron Boone is doing wrong, blah blah blah. Ya’ll know where to find that stuff and it is NOT here. What will be here though is the stories of incredible ladies who have spent part or perhaps their entire lives entrenched in baseball, doing the incredibly important work of sharing stories of other women and breaking the forever looming *glass ceiling.

An episode that features pets! Between Carrlyn's dogs making a surprise appearance and Shannon's cat making her first cameo on the pod, it was a show full of our favorite fur friends. When the attention wasn't on them, which was shockingly a lot of the time, the girls talked about getting into Twitch during the pandemic, their shared admiration of Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, what the future of intersecting sports and video games could look like and of course, MLB's Creators Cup.

This weeks episode covered everything under the sun- how trading Shohei Ohtani for Juan Soto would be the fairest trades of them all, why the A's have such fast rebuilds and of course, the debate about whether the Angels are some complex performance art piece that no one is aware of. Afterall, there's striking similarities between them and the famous Taylor Swift/Tom Hiddleson shirt drama.
